Getting Started

Welcome to Clarity.Do — a task management app designed to help you capture, organize, and complete your work with clarity.

Visit Clarity.Do and sign up for a free account. The Beginner plan gives you up to 1,000 tasks and access to the core views: Plan, Focus, Upcoming, and Search.

You can also sign up directly in the app on iOS, macOS, or at app.Clarity.Do.

Clarity.Do organizes your tasks across five purpose-built views:

  • Plan — structure your tasks hierarchically with unlimited nesting depth
  • Focus — zero in on the tasks you’ve marked as focused
  • Upcoming — see what’s overdue, due today, tomorrow, and beyond
  • Priority — visualize tasks on an importance vs. urgency matrix (Pro)
  • Search — find any task instantly, including within descriptions

Tap the plus button to create your first task. Give it a name, optionally set a due date, and save it. Your task appears in the Plan view and, if it has a due date, in the Upcoming view too.

For adding many tasks at once, try Quick Capture — long-press the plus button on iOS or use the menu bar capture on macOS.

Any task can have subtasks beneath it, and subtasks can have their own subtasks — there’s no nesting limit. Use the task hierarchy to break large projects into manageable pieces.

Every task can be scored on two dimensions (Pro feature):

  • Importance — from “Just for Record” to “Extremely Important”
  • Urgency — from “When Time is Available” to “Extremely Urgent”

The Priority view uses these scores to show you what needs attention first using an Eisenhower-style matrix.
