Recurrence

Recurring tasks automatically reschedule themselves when completed, so you never have to manually recreate repeating work. Premium

When creating or editing a task, you can set one of three recurrence modes:

  • None — the task does not repeat (default)
  • Monthly — the task repeats on the same day each month
  • Yearly — the task repeats on the same date each year

When you complete a recurring task, instead of being marked as done and removed, it’s automatically rescheduled to its next occurrence:

  • Monthly tasks move to the same day of the next month
  • Yearly tasks move to the same date of the next year

The completion is recorded in your history, showing both that it was completed and when the next occurrence is.

In task lists, recurring tasks display a visual indicator:

  • Monthly — a calendar icon showing the day number
  • Yearly — a calendar icon showing the month initial

Recurrence is a Premium feature. A due date must be set on the task for recurrence to work, since the recurrence schedule is based on the due date.
