macOS
Clarity.Do on macOS takes advantage of the larger screen with a sidebar layout and desktop-oriented interactions.
Navigation
Section titled “Navigation”A collapsible sidebar provides access to all sections:
- Plan, Focus, Upcoming, Priority, Find — main task views
- History, Profile — account and history access
The sidebar can be expanded to show labels alongside icons, or collapsed to show icons only.
Multi-Pane Layout
Section titled “Multi-Pane Layout”The macOS app uses a multi-pane layout with the sidebar on the left and your task content on the right. The Plan view optionally supports a split column layout for working with multiple levels of your hierarchy side by side.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Section titled “Keyboard Shortcuts”Common actions are accessible via keyboard shortcuts through the macOS menu bar. Use Escape to cancel and Return to confirm in dialogs and forms.
Menu Bar Capture
Section titled “Menu Bar Capture”A floating panel accessible from the menu bar lets you quickly capture tasks without switching to the main app window.
Floating Panels
Section titled “Floating Panels”Date pickers and parent task selectors appear as floating panels rather than full-screen sheets, making the most of the desktop experience.
Hover States
Section titled “Hover States”Task rows and interactive elements show hover states, providing visual feedback as you move your cursor.
Tab-Based Settings
Section titled “Tab-Based Settings”Settings are organized in a tab layout rather than a scrolling list, with dedicated tabs for each settings category.
