Completing & Undoing
Completing a Task
Section titled “Completing a Task”You can complete a task by swiping left on it in the Plan view and tapping the complete action.
Once completed, the task is removed from your active views and recorded in your completion history.
Recurring Tasks
Section titled “Recurring Tasks”When you complete a task that has a recurrence rule (monthly or yearly), it isn’t marked as completed in the traditional sense. Instead, it’s automatically rescheduled to its next due date. The completion is still recorded in your history, along with the next due date.
Completion History
Section titled “Completion History”The History view shows all your recently completed tasks. Premium
Each entry shows:
- The task name at the time of completion
- When it was completed
- Whether it was a recurring task (and what the next due date is)
Undoing a Completion
Section titled “Undoing a Completion”From the History view, tap the Undo button next to any completion entry to restore the task to its previous state. The task returns with its original status, due date, and position in your hierarchy.
Only the most recent completion of each task can be undone. Once you complete a task again, the previous completion is no longer undoable.
History Retention
Section titled “History Retention”You can control how far back your completion history goes in Settings. Options are 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
