Search
The Search view lets you find any task across your entire task list by name or description.
Searching
Section titled “Searching”Type your query in the search bar. Results appear in real-time as you type, with a short delay to avoid unnecessary lookups while you’re still typing.
The result count is displayed below the search bar so you know how many tasks matched.
Search in Descriptions
Section titled “Search in Descriptions”By default, search only matches task names. Toggle Also search in descriptions to include task description text in your search. This setting is saved and remembered for future sessions.
Results
Section titled “Results”Matching tasks are displayed with their parent breadcrumb paths, giving you full hierarchy context. You can expand any result to see its child tasks, even if those children don’t match the search query.
- Search is useful for finding tasks you’ve buried deep in your hierarchy
- Use it to quickly locate tasks by keyword when you’re not sure where you organized them
- The description search toggle is helpful when you’ve added detailed notes to your tasks
